Product Description:

The 48-core GYTC8S optical cable is a self-supporting outdoor fiber cable specifically designed for aerial installations in telecom, CCTV, and broadband projects.
It combines a central loose-tube optical core with corrugated steel tape armor and a built-in messenger wire, forming the classic figure-8 (8-shape) structure. This design provides superior mechanical strength, weather resistance, and installation convenience for long-distance spans.

The 48 fibers are housed in multiple color-coded loose tubes, each filled with water-blocking gel for maximum protection against moisture. The corrugated steel tape offers excellent compression and rodent resistance, while the PE outer sheath ensures durability under UV and temperature variations.
The messenger wire section — usually a galvanized steel strand — supports the cable’s weight during aerial deployment, eliminating the need for separate suspension hardware.
